I am taking my binoculars and hope to do a little more work on my constellations. I am taking (gasp) paper along to record my efforts and will report back when we return. On a bright note there is rumor of an old telescope hiding in the basement of my wifes Great-grandmothers house. Hercules was fairly faint but almost at zenith. Lyra and Cygnus were much easier to find being anchored in the sky by the stars Vega and Deneb respectivly. Deneb and Vega along with Altair make up what is called the summer triangle. I attempted to locate M13 in Hercules with my Binoculars but was unable to.
